Spreading The Word
Once the Zobrist Cube had launched on Amazon, we needed to start advertising the product. But of course as with every aspect of creating a new product, funds are needed to achieve goals such as advertising. Thus we figured we’d try to raise funds for marketing while advertising the game at the same time by bringing it to Kickstarter!
So What Is Kickstarter?
“Kickstarter is the world’s largest funding platform for creative projects. A home for film, music, art, theater, games, comics, design, photography, and more.” -Kickstarter.com
Kickstarter is a community based around crowdfunding, and gives developers, artists, and inventors the ability to bring their ideas to life. We decided that this would be the perfect place for us to turn to and ask for help in raising funds for our marketing plans. Of course in exchange, we’ve been offering Zobrist Cube sets at discounted prices as the rewards for backing our project.

While we have the set ready for sale and the zobristcube.com website up and running, no one has heard about the game or what it has to offer. That’s where you come in! We need your help to fund our marketing efforts so we can run a few advertisements for the game in magazines and online. With your support we’ll be able to get the word out and share the Zobrist Cube with the world. We’re offering Zobrist Cube sets at discounted prices only here on Kickstarter, with the hopes that the word of mouth it will generate and the advertising we’ll be able to do with the funds raised will help our product take off.”
